I have been working in stained glass for many years and have had an interest in hot or fused glass as an artistic medium.  The last few years I have expanded my horizons and have entered the hot/fused glass arena.  I have produced many fused glass works from decorative wall hangings/plates to glass jewelry.  This has been very rewarding as a medium of expression and relaxation for me.  Not only do I enjoy working with glass as a medium but I have received great support from my family encouraging me to continue to develop new works and try new techniques.  In 2009 and 2010 I was the recipient of a first place award in the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics Staff art exhibit
