In 2022, the City of Mount Vernon’s Park and Recreation Commission and the Mount Vernon Area Arts Council embarked on a plan to create a sculpture trail in the city.

Five sculptures have been added along the walking trail near Hahn Creek with plans for more in the future.

Requests for proposals for sculpture(s) to be installed in 2025 are open now. Applications are due March 10th.
