Opportunities to hear Mount Vernon Poet Laureate

Mount Vernon’s Poet Laureate Amelia Kibbie will present original poems at two upcoming events. Kibbie, an educator and author, will present during the Memorial Day program that begins 9:00 a.m. on May 30 at the Mount Vernon Cemetery.  She will also deliver a poem during Heritage Days at noon on Saturday, July 9 on the main stage in up town Mount Vernon.
